Pain Pen

Pain Pen

Drown it all in the pen
Only linking to the Dark Knight is my skin
But no Biggie here
No Suicidal Thoughts here
Though I do feel fear
I get through it like leggings that are shear
Instead of myself, I drown it in the pen
I try to let go like in the wind
And I try and play it like I’m fine
So being a smart reader you know I vomit through my pen
All the ifs and buts out my pen
Like when she said we’re at our end
That battle I didn’t win
Or when he left to be with the Lord
Inside me that struck an emotional cord
From my eyes tears poured
Since then, no more tears
I’m drunk off pain, no more beers
Eyes so swollen I see with my ears
And I talk through my pain pen
If you only knew how hard it’s been
How many relationships that fell through
How many situations I couldn’t commit to
What took me so long to graduate?
More ammo for the pen
Why do certain type chicks to me gravitate?
More ammo for the pen
Life troubles like everyone else
But they’re not me, so not like everyone else
It ain’t always about a win
But so I don’t go crazy, I use my pain pen

Mouth Wash

Goes down a lil sour but so fresh and so clean
Gives you a drive so mean
Wash away the wasted material
Separate before it gets mushy like cereal
Because once mush
To the side its pushed
Strive to be more w/ a strategic solution
Put ya hands up to the potential pollution
Minty fresh nasty in the after taste
But that's true, that's a base
Swallow ya pride and the feeling is terrible
But later you see it was bearable
And really needed to move forward
Wash ya mouth see
Speak it and it shall be
One way or another coming to fruition
Like intuition or a premonition
So take in the bad, swirl and spit
Separate it from the good, that's it

Can I Call You Beauty?

She walked by me pulling my attention like an under toe
In her direction is the only direction I could go
Her walk was royalty
To be in her presence commanded loyalty
She embodies grace & what it means to be a lady
She's sunshine, no where around her is shady
Excuse me, can I call you beauty?

She's a picture perfect frame
She's wild in heart yet tame
She plays above the game
She's sunshine in the rain
Excuse me, can I call you beauty?

My friends are tired of me talking about her
But they don't see her like I see her
Her eyes, so big & beautiful looking into my soul w/ a glance
Don't stare, you'll get caught in a trance
That big smile gives off a love for life
For this beauty you wouldn't pass it up once, let alone twice
So I make my way w/ a confident nervousness
The softness in her eyes relieves stress
Excuse me, can I call you beauty?

That Guy

Another poem from Created to Love, coming to you 2/26/10!!!

That Guy

He wants to be with her but he’s scared
Not like a punk, but nervous about what’s ahead
He wants it bad
He wants her bad
They have a good time together
But will that get them through the weather?
Friendship is there
They both could be a good pair
There is more there to share
So if every thing is so right, what’s wrong?
Why can’t he stand up and be strong?
He has goals and things he wants to get done
Can a relationship with all that be a serious one?
With limited time together, will it work?
Or when he says he’s tired make him seem a jerk?
Dude you have to follow your heart no matter where it leads
But he has this emotion that’s pouring out like cuts that bleed
And every time he sees her, those feelings come out
He’s afraid to really let her know what he’s about
How he wants it to last but he doesn’t know if he can give her what she needs
What she wants now, has to grow like seeds
So is that best for her? Or best for him?
What then would be best for them?
To take a chance and see how it goes
Or not and never know what the future holds
Why does it have to seem this complicated?
As far as his feelings, he almost feels obligated
Like Transformers, there’s more than meets the eye
He does want what she wants, deep inside
He wants to be, but is he ready to be that guy?

I Can't Tell Her

I Can’t Tell Her

I told her I loved her back
But in my mind I say more than that
Sometimes I see an opening for a stronger convo
But I can’t do that though
I mean, I think I can’t
Man, I hope my feelings don’t betray me
I’m so in love with she
Well in love enough to start that process
We could go away and start our own nest
But that’s forward thinking
And I am only blinking
I wonder if I ever cross her mind
That would be something great to find
Dudes don’t treat her the right way
When she’s down they don’t know what to say
She knows the type of guy I am
Us hooking up would be a slam
I want to but I can’t share the truth in my heart
I’m not sure in her current situation she’ll depart
But I can dream right?
If she offers, for her love I’ll fight
However, until I tell her it’s a dreaming reality
…but tell her I can’t

1st Sight

1st Sight

Her skin was like the sky
She took my breath when she walked by
Her hair was like the sun
Bright and beautifully done
Her long legs glisten like stars
I could go on for hours
Her eyes could steal a heart
Her beauty is off any chart
Her curves are like the desert dune
Her kiss could heal any wound
Her lips are as soft as roses
Her life has more than one purpose
She brings life and joy to those around she
She gives ever lasting love to that special he
Her voice is like a whispering summer breeze
Her gun is set; aim to please
With all that beauty her soul screams for love
Because even heavenly creatures need love
And I want to be her night in regular armor
We can grow our love like a farmer
Even after her beauty it was her personality
Her personality that captured me
Her thoughts are unlike any other
So much so that after 1st sight I wanted to be with her

The Look of Love

The Look of Love

Love is one of those things
That can cause many emotions in human beings
Love is what some live for
And is what some die for
Love is not lust
Love is apple pie with flakey crust
The look of love is reaching the pinnacle
Love goes way past anything subliminal
Love embodies all the emotions between woman and man
With love the feeling comes with the touch of a hand
Love is more than that night of passion between two
And also her on the couch taking care of you
Love is forever
Love is very clever
Love is very classy
And never ever trashy
Love sometimes cant be explained
Love can drive one deranged
There is some lust in love, just a bit
But lust can never be mistaken for it
Love lives in day or night
While lust during the day runs from the fight
The look of love can be found in ones self
And that look of love is wealth
